PRAYER LIST
CALVARY CHURCH: John thanks all of you for your continued prayers of healing and encouragement for himself and Rita as they endure John's battle with cancer. John receives his strength as a gift from day to day.
GRACE CHURCH: Congratulations to Josh & Ann, and grandparents Hank & Rita with the birth of Nolan Francis on March 2nd. We pray that God may bless this little one and the parents as they raise this child. Happy Birthday to Harry who turned 82 today, to Hilda who is turning 74 on the 22nd, and to Adrian who is turning 80 on the 23rd. Have a blessed day!
FIRST CHURCH: We express our Christian sympathy to Bernadina and her family with the passing of her husband, Wally—a former pastor at First CRC. Wally had been suffering from bone cancer for the past months and died peacefully last weekend. The funeral was to have taken place this past Thursday. May God comfort his grieving children. Little Benjamin has suffered a setback this past week. He was taken to London hospital where at the time of writing he was awaiting to undergo corrective surgery for a condition called pyloric stenosis. Please pray for our shut-ins and those who are recuperating from recent stays in hospital: Jack, Ruby, Kristen, Jack, Mike, and William, who continues to undergo cancer treatment.
Happy birthday Mrs. Wendy who is turning 89 on March 22, to Mrs. Rita who is turning 90 on March 23, and to Mrs. Tina who is turning 83 on March 23rd. Have a blessed day!

Desert Social and Auction for “Awaken Haiti” -- Doug DeBoer and his daughters, and Jeff Dam and his daughter have organized a dessert social and auction to raise funds for a home building project in the displaced town of Canaan, Haiti, in the aftermath of the earthquake. Join us for an evening of fellowship, yummy deserts, and a chance to win an IPAD. Tickets are $10, and 12 and under free. March 23, 6:00 pm at Chatham Christian School. Tickets can be purchased through the DeBoers, or the Dams, or from Maple City Office Equipment supplies department. Why not bring the whole family!
The Blenheim CRC youth group is inviting ALL YOUTH to the SQUARE DANCE this Friday, March 23 from 7:30-9:30pm at the Livestock Pavilion at Ridgetown College, 120 Main Street E. in Ridgetown. No square dance experience is required and no need to bring a partner - you will meet tons of new friends there! Tickets are sold at the door only and are $5 each. The Wallaceburg Christian School is excited and thankful to God to be celebrating 50 years of Christian education in the Wallaceburg, Dresden and surrounding areas. We invite everyone to join with us: former students, teachers, parents and all supporters of Christian education. On Saturday, June 30, 2012 we will have an Open House at the school (693 Albert Street, Wallaceburg) from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. There will be a dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Wilkesport Community Hall, with a program to follow. Tickets for the dinner are $25 per person, and must be purchased ahead of time. READY, SET, LEARN: Chatham Christian School is offering an exciting new program for children who are turning 4 in 2012. This program will run every Wednesday morning, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., for six weeks, starting April 4th (April 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, May 2nd, and 9th). The cost is $50.00 for the 6 week session, and the registration deadline is March 9th. Please call the school for more information, or to register.

There will be an organ and panflute concert on Thursday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the First Christian Reformed Church, Murphy and Exmouth, Sarnia. Organist Andre Knevel and panflutist Liselotte Rokyta from the Netherland will be joined by The Joyful Praise Choir to present a praise filled concert glorifying God through music and song.
