VACATION BIBLE
SCHOOL 2012:
The theme for Vacation Bible School this year is Babylon, Daniel's
Courage in Captivity and the dates are Monday July 9 to Friday July
13 from 9:30am until 11:30am.
We need you! Unless we get sufficient response quickly (no time
to hem and haw about this, no fence sitting! Decide today, yes or
no.) there will be no Vacation Bible School. This is a church run
activity and we need everyone on board in order to make it work.
This is what we need:
-organizer of volunteers
-publicity person
-decorating manager and people willing to be on the team
-food/snack manager with some helpers
-group leaders, appoximately 8
-song leader
-junior helpers
-shopkeepers for the marketplace
-Bible story teller to perform the role of Daniel
If you cannot help in any of these areas but are able to bake, sew,
decorate or babysit, let us know!
Contact the outreach committee (Wendy, Myrna) if you want to
help, or sign up on the sheet on the table at the back of the
church.
PRAYER MINISTRY:
§ Please come Sunday mornings at 9am and join in prayer for our church and community. We meet in Room #2 (in the lower level)

CLAPPING: Worship Committee would like to encourage you to clap during the singing of praises where appropriate, but to please refrain from doing so in response to either pianists, organists, or other musicians offering their gifts of music during the offering. Thank you – Worship Cmte
PRAISE SONGS HANDOUTS: For those who are having difficulty seeing the screen (children included) we have printed off copies of the praise songs being projected. Please see one of the ushers for a copy if you require one. Thank you – Worship Cmte
E-MAILS NEEDED: Council would like to streamline some of the communication that goes out to the congregation ie. funeral details, etc. and they would like to do this via e-mails. Please let Julie know at grace@ciaccess.com what your e-mail address is so that we can add you to the list so that you are not overlooked in receiving this information. Please send Julie a quick e-mail to be added in to the list and to confirm your e-mail even if she already has your e-mail. (For those who do not have a computer, the elders will still phone you with the information). Thank you.
