PRAYER LIST
FIRST CHURCH: Several of our members are undergoing tests for various ailments; we commit them to the care of doctors, but especially to the care of our heavenly Father. At this time it was preferred not to mention any names in the bulletin; however, you may be informed of those struggling with health issues and remember them in prayer.
Happy Birthday to Ms. Lena who is turning 82 on the 14th, and to Mrs. Jesse who is turning 79 on May 15th. Have a blessed day!
GRACE CHURCH: Clara was in ER for several hours this week after not feeling well and sudden loss of sight in one eye. Clara is being treated for glaucoma. Mary is at Sydenham Hospital in Wallaceburg until space becomes available in assisted care in Chatham. Ellen is under doctor's care at the Windsor Regional Centre. Kees is home again after an infection that weakened him considerably. Please keep these members in your prayers. Melvin & Kiny and Steven have transferred their membership to other CRC's and we wish them God's blessings as they settle in with their new church home.
Happy birthday to Joe who is turning 79 on May 18th. Have a blessed day!
DRESDEN CHURCH: After an extended period dealing with a virus, Bill was admitted to the Chatham Hospital for some tests. Bill is back home again recovering and is waiting on further tests to deal with an intestinal blockage. Please pray that these tests will give the doctors the information they need to eliminate this blockage so that Bill can return to full health.
Everett has been struggling with declining health and over the past few months has been exploring with doctors some strategies to improve his health. Recently, Everett received some discouraging news that there isn’t a lot that can be done medically-speaking. We lament these disappointing results, but we praise God that He has given Everett and his family peace with this reality. Everett has been blessed by God-given peace and strength as he lives out the tension of going to be with the LORD and remaining here on this earth. “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Phil. 1:21)
TO ALL CHURCHES: Kees & Reina thank you all very much
for the flowers, cards, and best wishes for their 65th wedding anniversary. Kees
is home from the hospital but he is still very weak.
