We welcome you to our worship service! This morning Pastor William will lead us in worship. May we be blessed as we worship together! This evening our 5pm Combined Worship Service will be led by Calvary CRC and located at Grace CRC.
SERMON SERIES ON NEHEMIAH: Pastor William will continue preaching on this seven part series focusing on the book of Nehemiah today. Consideration has been given to the scheduling of installation, Father’s Day and Lord’s Supper, Sunday School graduation, and observance of Canada Day.
GRACE CHURCH VISION STATEMENT: As disciples of Christ our purpose is to encourage spiritual growth in ourselves, our family, and our church family so that we will be the presence of Christ to all the world around us in all we say and do.
Thought for the week: “The tongue weighs very little but few people can hold it.”
MORNING OFFERINGS:
Sunday May 29 – Embrace AIDS Sunday: Donations to Embrace AIDS has helped CRWRC touch the lives of millions of people in the past years and the hope is to continue that work. Thousands of families and communities which CRWRC works with are directly affected by not only poverty and hunger but a whole generation of people who have died from AIDS, and the children, parents and communities who struggle to carry on in their absence.
June 5 - Vacation Bible School: The offering for Vacation Bible School will assist in the costs associated with organizing, running, and obtaining materials that will ensure another successful year of VBS. Financial support is a crucial element that will assist in this very valuable outreach program for children. Year after year the volunteer’s that run this program have made this a highlight for children throughout the community. This is a unique opportunity for children to be made aware of God’s love during this exciting week.
