GRACE CHURCH VISION STATEMENT: As disciples of Christ our purpose is to encourage spiritual growth in ourselves, our family, and our church family so that we will be the presence of Christ to all the world around us in all we say and do.

THANK YOU!!!!!!  To everyone who helped out with the Church Picnic this past Sunday, especially Susie H and Joanne N, from the Social Events Committee, who headed this event.  It was wonderful to see so many people from our church fellowshipping together!  We had over 250 people come out and the weather was perfect!  The Social Events Committee is planning our next event for sometime in the fall . . . so stay tuned!!

COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY STUDENTS: Last week Sunday we put a form in your mail slot for you to fill out to let us know where you are going to school in the fall and for what.  If you are not returning to school please let us know that as well.  For those who did not receive a form (whether young or older) please pick one up on the table in the narthex and fill it in.  All forms need to go to Rachel Hoekstra by Sunday June 19.  Please also submit a grad photo which will be returned to you.  Thank you.

LIBRARY NEWS:  Sharlene MacLaren latest book “Tender Vow”.  Brothers John and Jason Evans took a ski trip in the Rockies, but only one came home alive.  John is tragically killed.  Jason sets out to make amends with his widowed sister-in-law by offering to help with her two small children.  Can they help each other heal their pain?  Also, if you have not read her book “Through Every Storm” be sure to pick it up too.

HOMETOWN NAZARETH VBS (JULY 18-22): We will be having a meeting at Grace CRC in the sanctuary on Monday June 13 at 7:30pm for all who are going to help in any way.  A lot of details will be addressed that night, so if you miss out you might be a bit in the dark about how things will go. It is so nice to have everyone together for this so that we really feel like a team, and it keeps the communication straight forward and simple when things don't have to be repeated many times. I'm very thankful for the positive response from so many people. We look forward to another blessed time of evangelism and outreach together for the glory of God and the furtherance of His kingdom.
