PRAYER LIST
FIRST CHURCH: We express our Christian sympathy to Cathy and Tim—as well as Fran and Herm and Win and George and extended family—with the passing of Cathy’s sister, Patricia this past Tuesday. May God provide you with comfort and strength during this difficult time.
We are thankful no one is in hospital at the time of writing. Please remember our nursing home and shut-ins with a card or visit, but especially in our prayer. We wish birthday greetings to Mrs. Ruby Leistra who will be 75 on July 19th, and to Mrs. Grace who will be 78 on July 20th. Have a blessed day!
BLENHEIM CHURCH: Our prayers remain with Mike, who has stayed at the University hospital in London all week. He had surgery on his bowels last week Friday and is starting to make a good recovery. Our prayers are with Cor and Johanna. Last week Friday Cor learned that his youngest sister went home to die and she passed last Wednesday. Then on Monday Cor learned that he has lung cancer in a significant portion of one lung. He is undergoing a number of tests to see what treatment might be effective. We continue to remember Wouter who is also undergoing a number of tests and who hopes to learn on Monday July 25th what treatments will be best for his prostate cancer. This week we also pray for Dan and Teresa who are working with Wycliffe in Cameroon.
GRACE CHURCH: Frank & Metty would like to thank everyone for all the prayers, cards and visits after Frank's recent surgery. All is going well Praise the Lord!
This upcoming week we are having our VBS program as a combined effort with First CRC. We pray that we may reach these children that come and show them God’s love for them. Birthday greetings to Herman who turned 79 today!! We wish you God’s blessings!
CALVARY CHURCH: Congratulations to Ken and Shelly who were married in our church yesterday. We wish them God's blessing on their wedded life. Also congrats to Alan and Kim and family, on the occasion of their daughter Ava Lynn's baptism this morning. We continue to pray for the health needs of John, Elena, Jim and others.

Many members of Classis Chatham and Huron and beyond are helping to raise funds for research along with 1000 other cyclists and volunteers. We ask that you pray for a safe and successful bike ride on July 23 and 24 from Grand Bend to London and back again. We look forward to being the hands and feet of Jesus on our bicycles. Team: CRC Loose Spokes.
GROUNDWORK - Fruit of the Spirit: Life in Christ frees us from the condemnation of Old Testament law. But once we’ve received that freedom, what do we do with it? A study of the fruit of the Spirit addresses that question. Join the Groundwork July 24 conversation on Galatians 5:13-26. www.GroundworkOnline.com.
