PRAYER LIST

TO All CHURCHES:  From Bob and Jackie:  We would like to thank everyone with cards, well wishes, and most of all prayers.  The journey this past year has been a tough one but we made it.  Treatments are all done and I am feeling very healthy.  Praise God.  Bob’s knee replacements went well and he has full use again.  To God be the Glory.

FIRST CHURCH:  We are thankful that Ann was able to come home from the hospital.  Pray for comfort and healing for those who are grieving, and for strength for those who are confined to nursing homes.

Happy birthday to Mr. Bill who is turning 80 on the 25th, to Mrs. Grace who is turning 79 on the 26th, to Mrs. Grenda who is turning 81 on the 27th, and to Mrs. Margaret who is turning 78 on the 28th.  Have a blessed day!

BLENHEIM CHURCH:  We look forward to two celebrations this Tuesday.  Lammie hopes to celebrate her 88th birthday and Scott and Teresa hope to celebrate their 25th anniversary.  We are also grateful that Mike came home on Tuesday and pray that he continues his recovery.  We continue our prayers for Cor who saw the cancer specialist on Wednesday and Wouter who hopes to see the specialist on Monday.  We celebrate with Haniel and Michelle that the St. Paul Center can re-start their renovation project which had forced them to meet in alternate locations.  This week we also pray for Pete and Linda working in Bolivia.

GRACE CHURCH:    We offer our condolences to Hank & Georgina as well as Jake & Margaret with the passing away of Hank’s brother Gerald last week Saturday.  We pray for God’s comfort during this time of mourning.  Happy Birthday to Mary who is turning 78 on the 28th.  We wish you a blessed day!

COMBINED EVENING WORSHIP SERVICES

SERVICE TIME & LOCATION: Services are at First CRC and at 6:30 pm

OFFERINGS FOR JULY: Chatham Christian Schools (TAF).

Evening Worship Services: Beginning July 31, Pastors Jack, Chris, and William, will be reflecting on the three themes of the Belhar Confession: Unity, Reconciliation, and Justice.  The intent is not to endorse or express agreement for the Belhar to be a doctrinal position for our church, but rather help our congregations be aware of the important message presented in this document; a message that applies to our churches in North America and around the world.  We trust our churches in Chatham will be blessed by these messages.
Beginning in August, the pastors will introduce the Heidelberg Catechism by preaching a series of sermons in the evening services that will take us through 2012 (taking into account that there are special themes during the church calendar year that may interrupt this series).  May God bless the efforts of our pastors in our combined evening worship services.
