UPCOMING LORD’S SUPPER SERVICES:
We are celebrating Lord’s Supper Sunday October 16 in the am worship service.
GRACE CHURCH VISION STATEMENT: As disciples of Christ our purpose is to encourage spiritual growth in ourselves, our family, and our church family so that we will be the presence of Christ to all the world around us in all we say and do.
Thought for the week: “God drives us to our breaking point – so that He can fix us.”
MORNING OFFERINGS:
October 9, 2011 - Missionary Support: The church is called to carry out the Great Commission, both at home and abroad. Missionaries are our brothers and sisters who have gone out on our behalf to build the church of Jesus Christ and extend the Kingdom of God around the world. Grace Church supports Dan and Teresa Heath in Cameroon, Dorothy Meyer in Belize, Istifanus Gimba in Mozambique and Rev George Saylor in a church plant in London, Ontario.
October 10, 2011 – Thanksgiving Day - CRWRC: The CRWRC responds on your behalf to the needs of people who suffer from poverty, hunger, disaster and injustice around the world. CRWRC also works in North America to help restore communities that have been seriously affected by disasters and to help churches and individuals recognize the importance of living justice and loving mercy. It seeks to build a world where people work together to carry out acts of justice and mercy within their own community and around the world.
October 16, 2011 – Disability Concerns: Disability Concerns is a ministry of the CRC which seeks to end the isolation of persons with disabilities and their families. It helps to nurture the spiritual lives and use of gifts in people with disabilities so they can sense God fully in their churches.
