A READING EVENT is scheduled for Dance at My Funeral: Dan Steven, a living prophet in a dying age. The book shares the mission of Jan Klooster’s son, Dan, a 1994 graduate of Chatham Christian High School and singer-songwriter who surrendered his life at 25 to God after diagnosis with a brain tumour. It’s the tale of the amazing miracles of God’s grace in a tough, human journey; it’s also an inspiration for parents and grandparents who’ve raised boundary-breaking teenagers, lived with grief, and know its quixotic melding of sorrow and joy. Jan’s readings will begin at 7:15 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 in the CCHS gym at 475 Keil Drive South, Chatham. Refreshments will be served.
MESSIAH: The performance is December 17, 2011
at 7:00 p.m. at the Chatham Capitol Theatre. This year’s performance
features The Laudate Dominum Choir, celebrating their 50th Anniversary,

soloists, one of whom is CCHS alumni, Suzanne Schaafsma (currently a
vocal master’s student at U of T.). Proceeds from this concert will go

$20 (plus service charges) and can be purchased online at
