CALVARY CHURCH: This week we welcomed Alyssa Rae to our church family. She is the daughter of Steve and Rae-Anne, born Tues. evening. Everyone is well.
FIRST CHURCH: Benjamin Andrew, infant son of Cady and David, grandson of Tim and Cathy, after having surgery postponed twice, finally received his 5-hour open-heart operation. Doctors were pleased with the surgery and little Benjamin will now await a time of recovery at Sick Kids hospital in Toronto. We continue to commit him and his family to God’s gracious care and healing. Peter is expected to undergo colon surgery tomorrow. Please keep him in your prayers. Jack had a nasty fall this past week and was admitted to hospital, suffering from broken ribs and extensive bruising. He hopes to come home by the weekend. Mike enters his fifth week of treatment in Hamilton. Continue to pray also for Jack as he recuperates at home from recent surgery. He remains very tired. Wilhelmina suffered a fall at home and broke her hip. She has undergone surgery and is recuperating in hospital. Please keep her and her family in prayer. Please keep these brothers and sisters in prayer before our heavenly Father.
