PRAYER LIST
GRACE CHURCH: From Jim & Kathy: It is so good to belong to a family of believers. Jim & Kathy Hoekstra and the entire deJonge family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, kind deeds, cards, baking and many other ways of expressions of love shown to our mother Teena during her life here on earth. We appreciate all you’ve done for our family. Many will miss Teena and we celebrate her body being made new in Heaven.
We offer our condolences to Wilma with the passing away of her brother Piet in Holland this past Tuesday night after a long and difficult struggle with cancer. We pray for God’s strength and nearness for Wilma and that she may feel the support of her church family during this difficult time.
FIRST CHURCH: Peter underwent a six hour operation this past Monday to remove a sizeable portion of his upper intestine. The surgery was deemed successful and Peter expresses his appreciation for the congregation’s thoughts and prayers as he anticipated the surgery and now as he is in recovery. He anticipates returning home early in the week. Wilhelmina remains hospitalized for care of her health until such time as she can be discharged to a Nursing Home. Mike continues his treatments in Hamilton. Jack will remain in hospital until the end of the month as a result of a recent fall in which he fractured ribs and his shoulder. We pray for strength for their recovery. Baby Benjamin came home from hospital this past Sunday. He is recovering very well from his corrective heart surgery. The family gives praise to God for his comfort, grace and healing. Continue to keep the Herders in prayer before God. Happy Birthday to those celebrating on February 24th: Mr. Andy turning 72, Mr. Peter turning 82, and Mr. Bill turning 86. Have a blessed day!
BLENHEIM CHURCH: We look forward to celebrating with Cor and Johanna as Johanna has her birthday this Wednesday. We continue to pray for Cor as he struggles with his cancer and the various effects on his body. We pray for those who have lost mobility over the years and for those who suffer with a lot of pain.
