Coffee Break is a church-based, community Bible Study for women, single or married, with or without children, of all ages. No Bible knowledge is necessary to attend! Coffee Break offers the inductive method of Bible Study. This means that no one will tell you what the Bible says or what to believe. Questions are the key to helping you discover for yourself what the Bible says. Knowledgeable leaders will help guide you through this study. Grace Coffee Break offers both Wednesday morning and evening Bible Studies. Morning Coffee Break begins on Wednesday, September 28 and goes until the first week of April. We meet from 9:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Wednesday evening group also begins on Wednesday, September 28 from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. Both groups meet in the lower level of Grace Christian Reformed Church. There are programs for the children as well! Grace Coffee Break offers both Nursery for your infants and toddlers and a Story Hour program for children ages 3-5 yrs. Story Hour and Nursery both provide a loving, welcoming atmosphere where Jesus’ love is visible through both the leaders and lessons. “Let the little children come to me!” Coffee Break Bible Studies being offered in 2011-2012 Essentials of Parenting - Video Series The Essentials of Parenting is a video series that offers practical wisdom, honest confessions and decades of experience from a variety of well-respected Christian child-rearing experts. The first six sessions will focus on The Power of Love. These sessions focus on how to enrich and enjoy the bond between your child and yourself. You'll also discover that when it comes to passing along your faith and values, a good relationship with your son or daughter is the sharpest tool in every parent's toolbox. Discover Romans, Part 2
Paul's letter to the Romans helps spell out the hows and whys of salvation,
revealing that through Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit all our
relationships—with God, people, and creation—can be set right again and
transformed. Part Two of this study covers Romans 8:18-16:27. Prior study
of Romans Park 1 may be helpful, but not necessary! The Tabernacle The Old Testament has many chapters describing the Tabernacle, which was the tent used for worship by the Israelites during the years they spent in the wilderness. But in studying the Tabernacle more closely, we can also learn how it foreshadows the coming of Jesus Christ in the New Testament. Discover the Parables of Jesus (Evening Coffee Break)
Jesus told stories that would stay with you. They might even make you want
to change the way you lived—and that was the point. Jesus came to teach
everyone that the kingdom of God is near and that it is coming—into our
world, into our lives, into our heads and hearts.
Special Events Coffee Break offers fun events during the spring and summer months. Some of those events include park days at Kingston Park every Wednesday morning in May and June at 10:00am, as well as some other special events, such as Coffee Night Out.
