Mission & Vision

Christians throughout the centuries have affirmed basic doctrines of faith. We hold the Apostles' Creed to frame our beliefs and act as a bedrock for our faith.

We also believe God's mission is to redeem all those whom he has called and to restore all that he has created.

Grace Church participates in that mission by seeking to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ who transform lives, relationships, and communities for God’s glory.

We Believe

  • in the Triune God who has revealed Himself as one God in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • the Bible to be the infallible, inspired Word of God and the only rule for faith and life.

  • that all people are sinners and cannot be restored to fellowship with God by any power of their own.

  • that God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to die on the cross for our sins.

  • that Jesus rose from the dead, and is now our intercessor with the Father.

  • that when Jesus ascended bodily to heaven, he promised his disciples a comforter, a source of power; one that would “lead them into all truth” -- this gift was the Holy Spirit.

  • that the Holy Spirit, the presence and power of God, continues to dwell in and empower God’s people.

  • that Jesus will return visibly on the last day to judge all people.

  • that God will accept all who repent of their sins.

  • that the finished work of Jesus Christ is the only basis for salvation.

We Belong

Grace Church is part of the Christian Reformed Church of North America (CRCNA) and, in addition to the Apostles' Creed, we subscribe to the beliefs that are outlined in the Nicene Creed and the Athanasian Creed. We also affirm three confessions—the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort—as historic Reformed expressions of the Christian faith.
